Taylors Lakes is the first Development Victoria project to commit to the Homes for Homes initiative. Homes for Homes is an independent not-for-profit organisation, established by The Big Issue. Homes for Homes raises funds to create more social and affordable houses for those in need. This is achieved by property owners donating 0.1% of the sale price of their home to the Homes for Homes fund. Development Victoria is a proud partner and will donate 0.1% of the sale price for each block sold in Taylors Quarter. There will also be a voluntary caveat on the title of each block for all future sales. For example, if you decide to sell your property in the future for $750,000 this would equate to a tax deductible donation of $750. Residents can choose to optout of the charitable initiative, but their original purchase will have already contributed to this deserving cause through Development Victoria's donation.
